2023 is in full swing, if you started the year strong and now losing steam, this is for you. Are you losing momentum and starting to revert to old habits and patterns that aren’t serving your goals or highest good? Keep reading. It’s not uncommon for you to stop working out consistently, eating healthy and to start making excuses why you can’t make your health, relationships and finances a priority. Even though your excuses are valid (mine always are;) are your choices hurting or helping you? Excuses always keep us stuck.
This is what I do that helps me, hope it helps you, too. It’s time to reflect on your current situation and re-focus on the areas of life that matter most to you.
The 3 major areas of life we tend to focus on improving are:
1. Health
2. Wealth
3. Relationships
“Having it all”–for some of us–is that we finally get (and stay) healthy and fit, have an abundance of time, money and energy, feel fulfilled in our life’s work, our relationships with our family and friends, and we are in love–with ourselves first–and our significant other.
Now, ask yourself this: “what areas of life matter most to me right now?” Have I been holding myself to the high standard I set for myself at the beginning of the year, or any time of the year?
How do I plan on living a higher quality of life in this area?
This year—and every year—my personal focus is on wealth creation. In the past, my measure of wealth was based on how much money I made/had. It wasn’t until my coach training that I expanded my awareness in 8 OTHER areas of wealth that are equally important to me.
9 Areas Of Wealth:
1. Knowledge – sharing it
2. Talents – expressing them fully
3. Experience – what I’ve done and learned that will serve others
4. Character – how well do I embrace challenges?
5. Community – connecting with others, being heard, seen and known
6. Spiritual Connection – embracing the unknown
7. Financial – what is my net worth? How am I managing/respecting my finances?
8. Relationship – how much love is in my life?
9. Health & Fitness – feeling physically healthy, loving myself, my body and having more energy…living with vitality.
What I learned is that wealth is the accumulation of value. Consciously creating and expanding my wealth—based on what I value most—is the name of the game in 2023.
