Toxins And Your Metabolism.

 

 

Increased exposure to daily environmental toxins alters your metabolism.  We need a healthy metabolism to get and stay lean, to absorb and assimilate nutrients from our food/supplements and for an abundance of energy so we can live life fully.

Environmental toxins are actually poisoning our mitochondria (the powerhouse of our cells) that produce ATP (energy) which then negatively affects how well our metabolism functions.  When we are not producing optimal energy in our cells, they degenerate.  When our mitochondria and neurons are poisoned we are at risk for neurodegenerative diseases such as Alzheimer’s and Dementia.

Where Do Toxins Come From, And How Do We Get Rid of Them?

 

1. About half of our toxic overload comes from food.  If you choose to eat conventionally grown vegetables, grains, meat and dairy vs. organic or grass fed, not only are you ingesting a much higher amount of toxins from pesticides, herbicides but also from a chemical called cadmium (a toxic heavy metal) this chemical is in high phosphate fertilizers used for crops such as soybeans.

 

2. Packaged foods – toxic BPA from plastics, canned foods

4. GMO foods (the genetically modified organism itself and the chemicals they spray them with).

 

5. Toxic Gut – when we have toxic bacteria in our gut it creates a long list of diseases. (most diseases start in our GI tract).  Get rid of the bad bacteria, repopulate the gut with good bacteria to balance our microbiome then heal it.  This seals leaky gut to prevent foreign objects from leaking into our bloodstream and causing disease/disorders.

Smart Detox Program

 

Ignore many of the so called “healthy detox programs” that are flooding the internet and juice bars.

We can get rid of the toxins in our bodies, by detoxing safely and effectively.

BEFORE you start ANY detox program, you have to PREPARE your body for detox.

1. Most detox programs put you on a low calorie juice diet, so when your body starts to dip into your fat stores all the toxins and chemicals in your fat stores are released into your bloodstream and you become MORE toxic.  You need fiber and protein to pull the toxins out and so you don’t feel like s%#t.
